I am pleased to announce that I am again teaching the Rejuvenate Your Retirement educational course.
The course is split into two days each lasting 2 hours in length.
In the first half of the course we will review Life Planning in Retirement. This is the non-financial side of retirement. What are you going to do with all the free time you have now that you are no longer working? We will then move into Financial Concerns which comes down to understanding your monthly budget, options on making your money last and also looking at the risk and volatility in your portfolio. Finally, we will move into Investments. We will review mutual funds vs. exchange traded funds, equity indexed annuities vs. variable annuities and which investments and risks you should consider.
In the second half of the class we will discuss Retirement Income Sources. Are you collecting as much as possible from Social Security? We will also discuss required minimum distributions and how to avoid sever tax penalties. We will them review health care planning, which tend to be one of the biggest concerns for retirees. We will discuss Medicare and health insurance options. Learning how to evaluate your options as well as looking at long-term care costs and needs. Finally, we will move into estate planning; creating a plan for those who do not have one and will review the need to update for those who already have a plan in place.
The cost of the class is $39; which includes one workbook and a spouse or guest at no additional charge.
